An artist or a content creator? These days it's getting harder to say where one ends and the other begins.
In the second episode of "Waves and Symbols" we take a close look at the state of the modern music industry. We talk about the algorithms that in practice decide who gets heard and who disappears, and about the growing problem of bot farms and the fake traffic they generate on social media. We ask what all of this means for someone who just wants to create and tell the world something.
We don't leave it at complaining, though. We talk about concrete solutions for creators who don't want to play this game by someone else's rules. We also return to the experiment from the first episode to see what actually came out of it and what we observed.
