Cookie Policy of Fundacja Fungazza
Version: 1.0 Effective date: [PUBLICATION_DATE] Last updated: [PUBLICATION_DATE]
§1 Introduction
This cookie policy describes how the Fundacja Fungazza website uses cookies and similar technologies. The document complements our Privacy Policy, which covers the processing of your personal data in detail.
What are cookies? Cookies are small text files saved by your browser on your device. They allow websites to remember your preferences, login sessions, and embed content from external services (e.g. music players, maps).
§2 Types of cookies we use
We use two types of cookies:
Strictly necessary (technical)
Required for the proper functioning of the site, do not require consent under art. 173(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Act of 12 July 2024 (PKE). These apply only to the administrator panel — average site visitors have no cookies of this type unless they log in as administrators.
Functional / third-party
Set by external services whose content we embed on the site (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Google Maps). Require your explicit consent — blocked by default until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner.
§3 List of specific cookies and embedded services
| Name / Service | Type | Purpose | Lifetime | Consent required |
|---|---|---|---|---|
next-auth.session-token | Necessary (1st-party) | Administrator session | ~30 days | No |
next-auth.callback-url | Necessary (1st-party) | Post-login routing | Browser session | No |
Spotify (open.spotify.com) | Third-party | Embedded music player | Per Spotify's policy | Yes |
Apple Music (embed.music.apple.com) | Third-party | Embedded music player | Per Apple's policy | Yes |
SoundCloud (w.soundcloud.com) | Third-party | Embedded music player | Per SoundCloud's policy | Yes |
Google Maps (google.com/maps) | Third-party | Studio location map | Per Google's policy | Yes |
YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) | Third-party | Embedded video (cookie-free version) | — | No |
We use YouTube in the youtube-nocookie.com variant, which according to official Google documentation does not set tracking cookies until the user starts playback. For this reason we display YouTube videos without requiring consent.
§4 Managing cookies
You have two ways to control cookies:
Cookie banner + "Manage cookies" link
On your first visit we show a banner with Accept / Reject choices. Your decision is stored in your browser's local memory (localStorage) — we do not use additional cookies for this. You can change your decision at any time by clicking the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer. We store in your browser's local storage which emoji reaction you left under an article, so we can remember that you already reacted. This is technical data and does not identify you.
Consequences of rejection: in place of music players, maps, and other embedded content you will see a placeholder with an option to enable these elements in a single click.
Browser settings
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser:
Note that fully blocking cookies in your browser can affect the operation of many websites.
§5 Changes to the policy
We reserve the right to update this policy in case of changes in law, technical infrastructure, or scope of cookies used.
We will notify you of material changes:
- Newsletter subscribers — by email at least 14 days before changes take effect
- All users — by notice on this page
Earlier versions of the policy are available on request (contact: fundacja@fungazza.com).
In the event of any discrepancy between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version prevails.
